A short code shown in a friendly error message and written to the server log, so your agent can find the exact log entry without exposing details to the user.

**Example:** For example, a user sees “Something went wrong (ref: `req_8f3a`)” and your agent searches the server logs for `req_8f3a` to see the full error.
