# terminal (terminal)

A window where you type commands instead of clicking. Your agent mostly uses it for you.

**Analogy:** A kitchen hatch where you pass written orders to the cook instead of pointing at a menu.

**Example:** For example, your agent uses the terminal to run `npm run dev` and start your app on your computer.
