New project: a folder with a memory

A project folder on your computer, its twin repo on GitHub, and the expert skills your agent will follow.

≈ 20 minMilestone · Your first repo

What your agent will do

  1. A1Creates the project folder inside Development, with a lowercase, hyphenated name.
  2. A2Switches Git on, hides your secrets with .gitignore and installs the skills it will follow.
  3. A3Creates the private repo on GitHub and pushes the first checkpoint.

What you do

  1. Pick a project name: lowercase, with hyphens (my-first-app). It becomes your future address, my-first-app.vercel.app.
  2. Approve each step when your agent asks (you're in Manual mode).
  3. When asked, reopen the session inside the new folder: Open folder… → your project.
  4. Open the GitHub link your agent shares and look around your repo.

What's the difference between your local repo and the remote one?

Copy for your agent

We're starting a new project. Check it's in my Development folder, that Git is on, secrets are ignored and the repo is on GitHub. Then show me the repo and explain local vs remote in two sentences.
